Red Newt Cellars is the winery attached to one of the Finger Lakes’ most well-known and beloved restaurants, Red Newt Bistro. The Place:  Red Newt Cellars has a nice tasting room – spacious, updated, and pleasant – attached to the main restaurant. Much like everywhere else in the Finger Lakes, there’s not too much that’s too fancy about the tasting room ... Read full review

Perched high above one of the deepest parts of Seneca Lake, Fox Run’s winery is surrounded by vineyards of Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc and offers beautiful views.

The Place:  There’s not much in the Finger Lakes that’s quite “on the way,” but Fox Run is a little more isolated, with it’s nearest neighboring winery, Red Tail Ridge, a good fifteen minutes’ drive south.
