Winery Map of the Day – Anderson Valley's Top Pinot Noir Providers

Once upon a time - five to ten years ago - Anderson Valley wineries were known for producing elegant, exquisitely balanced, complex Pinot Noir with great acidity. Pinot lovers can still find this style in Anderson Valley, but visitors now have a much wider variety of styles to choose from, for better or worse. The three towns located within the Anderson Valley AVA: Boonville, Philo and Navarro have a combined population of approximately 1600 people. With more than 30 wineries, Anderson Valley provides one of the best winery to population ratios in California!

If you are able to escape the pull of Sonoma and make your way to Anderson Valley, here are 11 must visit wineries to experience Anderson Valley's highest rated Pinot Noir. Wineries include FEL Wines, Drew Family Cellars, Goldeneye, and Handley.
