Winery Map of the Day - Napa's Highest Rated Cabernet Sauvignon

Our inaugural Winery Map of the Day is for those seeking the highest rated and most exclusive - and expensive - Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The makers of these wines continue to collect near-perfect scores and attract customers seeking a transcendental wine experience (or at least attempting to impress a recipient or guest).

Due to limited supplies and extremely long waiting lists, only a few of these Napa wineries, such as Shafer and Larkmead, provide tastings. Although future winery maps will only list wineries that provide either public or private tastings, we couldn't create a list of Napa Valley's highest rated Cabernet Sauvignon producers without including wineries such as Bryant, Colgin, Harlan and Screaming Eagle - wineries at the forefront of the Napa cult craze in the 1990s. Although the Napa cult style has plenty of critics, there is no denying that these Napa Valley wineries hold a spot at the pinnacle of American Cabernet Sauvignon.
