Albarino, a very thick-skinned grape, is widely planted in northwest Spain and in the Vinho Verde region of Portugal. It is considered by many to be Spain’s best white grape variety.

Albarino combines Viognier’s rich aromatics and apricot and peach flavors with Riesling’s crisp acidity, minerality and citrus flavors, resulting in a medium-bodied, expressive, food-friendly wine.
