We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard by Marriott Old Town for a great price. There are plenty of hotel choices in Old Town though. We could have walked everywhere in Old Town Scottsdale from the hotel but choose to call the golf cart service which picked us up and dropped us off all over Old Town. We wanted to do the Scottsdale Wine Trail which includes: LDV Wine Gallery, Su Vino, Aridus, Carlson Creek and Salvatore Winery. The wineries were too close to Uber it, and even though they are walkable, it was a hot day so we choose www.joyridesaz.com who work on tips alone. We had a few appetizers at Tapas Papa Frita near the waterfront which had a great vibe. Later we ate at one of Scottsdale's oldie but goodie American Cuisine Restaurants, Bandera on Scottsdale Road. The food is excellent and the big round bar in the middle is the place to sit if you ask me. There is so much shopping, places to dine and drink in Old Town. Put it on your vacation spot list.
